A mishmi takin was born on April 18th and some Naked Mole Rats on Mid-March.

3 black swan chicks were born on May 6.

On the 16th of May a male Black sable antelope (Hippotragus niger niger) was born. The 6-year old mother came from a zoo in France and the 5-year old father came from Praha zoo. This is the first time that this species have bred at zoo Gdansk! How many black sable antelopes does Gdansk now have?

About 2 weeks ago a female Scimitar-horned antilope was born at Gdansk .

On the 3rd of June 4 (3 males and 1 female) Arabian sand cats (Felis margarita harrisoni) were born to parents Maolie (2) and Abu (14). Would this be a zoo first breeding for Gdansk?

At the start of July a female Western pygmy hippopotamus (Choeropsis liberiensis liberiensis) was born to parents Tosi and Sapo.

At the end of July 2 Bali mynas (Leucopsar rothschildi) left the nest box.

On the 1st of June a Common chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) was born to the 35-year old (female?) Lola and the 9-year old (male?) Sambor. The gender of the newborn is currently unkown.
