Good list, but did you see the domestic guinea pigs (I would imagine they are nearby the Domestics area)?

Also, the "African crested porcupines" are most likely Cape porcupines.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and make a species list! Niabi Zoo is quite out of the way, even for someone living in the same state.

There are some nice rarities in this list, including the Sakalava velvet gecko, African Five-lined skink, and Marbled Lungfish.

golden weaver?
Was this a Baglafecht weaver by any chance? It is a very rare species in captivity.
Why, yes sir... you are quite handsome with those amazing feathers! We caught our handsome Baglafecht Weaver preening the other day. Alot of focus on his neck and breast feathers. Nice job, buddy! This delightful species ranges through Eastern and Central Africa and are known for weaving dry grasses and plant materials to create their elaborate nests. Come check out our lovely yellow feathered friends above our Cape Porcupine Family at Biodiversity Hall. | Niabi Zoo | Facebook

Good list, but did you see the domestic guinea pigs (I would imagine they are nearby the Domestics area)?
no, i am believing that the guinea pigs are part of the animal encounters area, which was closed for the season. i made this deduction when at the admissions area said that the Guinea pig feeding was closed, hence why i thought that, also because there was no clear exhibit meant for guinea pigs in the farmyard area

looking at the facebook post that is the exact species that i saw. for me i am not a huge bird fan, and i easily misidentify birds, and being that there was no signage of this bird, which apparently they know what it is, i just believed it was a Taveta Golden weaver (Ploceus castaneiceps)
