To be a bit more positive and less grumpy zoonerds!

Mum to very little girl in the lemur walkthrough at (I think) Africa Alive "Look there's a baby lemur" pointing at mother carrying young.

Little girl, after some thought "Where is the buggy?" (ie stroller)

**************

Little boy at Monkey World "Grandad, is there other worlds? Is there elephant world?"

One of many favourites for me was an obviously bright young girl in the Realm of the Red Ape at Chester, watching the Orangs her dad said "do you like the monkeys laura" to which she replied "They are Apes daddy, can't you even read the signs" - I sniggered..........quite loudly!

Pass the smelling salts! This morning at Paignton's Asiatic lion enclosure, a couple were discussing the lions with their two small children, asking them which was the male and which the female, what they thought lions ate and so on. They even read out the Latin name to them.

Another couple were watching the orangutans and making fairly sensible comments to their children but, despite standing next to the orangutan photos, they let themselves down by referring to the two females and one male as males.
