hi , i would like to ask currently is there any night safari in the US . i think it would be nice if US were to model on Singapore night safari . because in night safari , you can view the animal when they are at their most active time ( nocturnal ) how would you think

No there is not, probably because none of the continental states are in a tropical climate like Singapore where it could be done year round. I suppose Hawaii could pull it off.

However, some U.S. zoos do have certain extended evening hours in summer. I LOVE this and wish more zoos would do it. The only one I know of that does it every night of the week in summer is San Diego Zoo, open until 9pm and the front part and gift shop are open until at least 9:30pm. Here in Tucson, Arizona, Reid Park Zoo is open late on Friday nights in summer and Arizona Sonora Desert Museum is open late Saturday nights in summer. I believe Phoenix Zoo started also doing Saturday nights for the last couple years. Other zoos have one night per month late, often in conjuction with a concert night. Off the top of my head, I think Cincinnati Zoo and Rio Grande Zoo do this.

Journey into Africa during extended summer hours is probably the closest thing for what you are looking for. You have to time it so you are almost the last tour during the day though. If you start out at about sunset its perfect. The cars have lights which they can shine into the exhibit. When I went there was about 7 bongo all around the watering hole in their exhibit, which was really special because you often only see 2 in way in the back during the day.

Remember that Singapore's Night Safari is not simply the daytime zoo opened late. It is a separate area designed for nightime visits.
That makes a great deal of economic sense in Singapore where the evenings can be more pleasant than the daytime. But in North America there are fewer places with those conditions and the tourist market to support such a place.

I am extremely disappointed that the Safari Park (formerly Wild Animal Park) keeps moving up their summer closing time. It used to be 9pm just like the zoo, which was fantastic. For the last two years, they bumped it up to 8pm, so it is just starting to get dark when you have to leave. This year I see they are moving it up again to 7pm, which means it will still be daylight out. Just one more example of how the current leadership in San Diego is taking them downhill from their former glory.
