No Backup!

It has been a while since i haven´t entered the forum. Well this is because my computer fell and the hard drive broke and apparently, the information and PHOTOS (about 25,000) are unrecoverable.
unfortunately I lost all of my pictures from the Zoos I visited in Europe.
This is the 3rd time this happens and I still dont do a backup.

I just wanted to know if this had happened to any of you, and what did you do? (appart of crying )

First two times didn't teach you a lesson?

I made that mistake once with a report, and I vowed to never let it happen again. I did have a have a laptop hard drive crash on me though, but I had all but the most recent photos backed up. I bought a hard drive reader to try to retrieve some of the data, and it worked!!
