By seperate enclosures i mean that it's one enclosure that can be divided into 3.
Seems a bit pointless getting so many though.
 
Visited the place yesterday yes in some ways it has improved but yet i still came away disappointed by the place,as they just dont seem to be able to finish a job off properly when they do it,although the new signs they have put up are quite good and a vast improvement on what went before them,just a pity that on the Azares Agouti sign they have used a picture of an Orange-rumped Agouti.Finally if they want to be taken seriously as a zoo i don`t think they should have signs up selling baby rabbits,Guinea Pigs,Gerbils and Corn Snakes as any one could buy them and they have no i clue whether the people purchasing them have the correct equipment to keep them with.
 
Wow, I can't believe some of the things in this thread - especially the wonky giraffe house and the dog being labelled as an exhibit!!! :eek: How on earth does such a dodgy place get a zoo licence? It makes you wonder.

On a light-hearted note, if anyone ever asks me what kind of dog they keep at Noah's Ark, and whether the place is any good, I can give the same answer to both questions... (drumroll please)...

Noahs Ark have just received grey kangaroo from Chester Zoo, they will share the Australasian area with the Wallabies, Emu and Kune Kune's.

Popular they may be, but the larger Red & Grey Kangaroos are not that easy to keep longterm in the UK. In particular they can suffer from a condition called 'lumpy jaw'. Groups tend to die out after living and breeding quite successfully for a while. Bennett's Wallabies are much tougher and less prone to disease though they can sometimes suddenly die if their resistance is lowered by stress-related causes.

oh opps sorry bele, well the group at marwell seems to be pretty healthy and well numbered...
