Closed Nobody in the chatroom

Just wondering if its just me,or is any one else not seeing anyone listed as being in the chatrooms,because sometimes when you go in you can join it thinking nobody is in and when you sign in you can have about 5 or more people,in the chatroom despite the fact that it is showing that nobody is in!!
 
It happened to me last week. After a day or two of not seeing anyone in the chatroom I decided to enter and wait to see if anyone turned up. I had only just logged on thinking I was the only one there and about 8 people appeared.
 
Been about a week or so of it happening to me, too.
 
The website for the IRC channel which hosts the chatroom is currently offline (hardware failure at their end) ... so the script which updates the number of users in the chatroom is currently non-functional.

I'm not sure if/when the site will be back online, so I'll look around for alternatives in case we need to move networks. The chatroom itself still functions as normal.
 
Just a quick reminder to people that just because the main page says that nobody,is in the chatroom it doesn't mean that people will not be in the chatroom!!

I think the point is that the user-count for the chat-room always sits at zero even when there are people in there, so by bumping the thread other users will know she/he is in there right at that moment and go in there too.

I see. If that's the case then I'm sorry epickoala. By the way, I'll be entering the chatroom in a few minutes.
