It was only confirmed just today that all five Sedgwick girls are still pregnant so it is 100% either Luna or Kianga who has miscarried.

Lovely to have another calf on the ground, but also rather disappointing to see it’s another male. Oh well, if nothing else we’ll have a nice little cohort of young bulls to have on display in bachelor facilities 10 odd years down the road (ironically they will most likely be mentored by the numerous surplus male Mabu offspring who are currently the young bulls being mentored now, lol)

My thoughts exactly :p I hate to be negative about another healthy calf, but it does definitely feel like a bit of rotten luck that (so far) the only female in the cohort didn't survive. Of course there's two more chances to have females born, but who's to say! These boys likely being Callee calves doesn't help either, especially given they have three half brothers already that are inevitability to end up sitting in bachelor facilities. At the very least, their mothers are proven, and maybe Sedgwick will bring in a male of higher value for their next cohort.

If we are to assume these two males are sired by Callee it does present further problems.

Out of the current calves born in the last fifteen years that are still alive today; twenty nine have been born, and sixteen have been male. Out of those sixteen calves, thirteen were sired by Callee and Mabu.

I would be extremely surprised if Callee is to breed again anytime soon! Assuming the upcoming calves survive - nine calves in a quick four year span is very impressive.
