North American Clouded Leopard Population

Xtreme Exotics appears to have had 2 cubs last December. Since they're on this website and not their store one, I assume they're for the little zoo they're trying to start? Security Check Required
Thanks, @TinoPup !! According to the post, they were born at Carson Springs Wildlife Foundation. It will be added to the thread. By the way, if you find anything else regarding clouded leopards, you are free to tell me.

I am an AZA member and have access to the clouded leopard studbook. If you need any information, please let me know.

Are there any clouded leopards currently being kept by any Mexican zoos ?

I ask this because I don't think there were any when I lived in that country but other rare felids like snow leopards were beginning to arrive in some of the larger zoos and I remember thinking "Its only a matter of time before clouded leopards end up at Chapultepec or Guadalajara".

I cannot currently find any in Mexico in the International Studbook as of April 1, 2020.

Is that all the individuals you listed at the beginning?
No, is all the individuals listed in the last update. Only the ones that need information:

Update:

There are currently 47.65. The 8 clouded leopads in captivity around North America ( probably more) as of April 2020.

PD: If you know any information about them or about the existence of more clouded leopards in North America not listed here please tell me to post it. If I have any mistake please correct me.

I am an AZA member and have access to the clouded leopard studbook. If you need any information, please let me know.
While searching in CITES trade database I found six records of live clouded leopard exports from China to US back in the 80s. Are any of those individuals recorded in the studbook? And if they are, do they have any descendents? (It's probably too much to ask. Thanks in advance!)

I am amazed that places like this can get what I thought was a hard-to-acquire SSP animal. I guess that is not the case, because three zoos in my state of Arizona have them and none of those are AZA accredited.
I'm not sure if it's been noted on the thread yet, as I'm yet to read through... but one privately owned facility in the US has had (from what I can see) the best breeding success of any institution in the last 12 months worldwide. It wouldn't surprise me if this facility is the source of the CL's finding their way into more zoos.

*Having looked through, the facility has been mentioned = Tanganyika Wildlife Park*

It seems Tanganyika's standards are fairly low when deciding who gets animals from them. The same is starting to happen with cheetahs, as well. Does anyone know if Tanganyika cloudeds have gone to AZA zoos, like cheetahs have?

Yep! They're very successful with several species and have been supplying a lot of places with cubs.
