I have tried to find answer by search tool, but that seems it is almost impossible (or I don'y know to search on best way possible) or will take me a lot of time. I am interested for that how many holders there are in America in particular for:
-California sea lions
-Bottle-nosed dolphins
-But also other species/subspecies listed below.
Situation in Europe (ZTL) is:
-90 holders (!!) of California sea lions
-29 holders of Cape fur seal
-11 holders (5 in Russia) of Northern fur seal
-9 holders of South American fur seal
-46 holders of South American sea lion
-22 holders of Atlantic gray seal
-21 holders (6 in Poland) of Baltic sea gray seal
-97 holders (!!) of Eastern Atlantic harbour seal
-7 holders of steller sea lion
-28 holders of Atlantic bottlenose dolphin
-20 holders (16 in Russia & Ukraine) of Black sea bottlenose dolphin
-1 holder (in Romania) of Pacific bottlenose dolphin
-3 holders of killer whale
-16 holders (10 in Russia) of beluga
!! The numbers are almost unbelieveable; I did not expected that will be this high (Wich is of course a positive thing - extensive ex-situ populations). But I have no idea about the number of holders of these species in America, so can anyone help with this out? Also it is welcomed, info, from other regions in the world. Thanks.
