The zoo is planned to still be there and open to the public, they are planning the other development to be a different experience to the Urban zoo's so they will both have their own draw.

I'm sure even if the zoo got less visitors, which I doubt, the NWCP would be able to keep the zoo afloat seeing as they're the same charity.

You might have been better using the word IF and not WHEN the NWCP opens as at the moment its in the same position as Biota in London.
