NYC or Chicago: Which city is better for a species list hunter?

I'm from wherever I need to be from.

Wherever there is injustice, you will find us. Wherever there is suffering, we'll be there.

And then I ride away on my horse.

I know this is likely some superhero movie loved by those younger than I, but the middle two lines are a close approximation of the ending of John Ford's 1940 film, The Grapes of Wrath.

I wasn't trying to pry, only see if you might be familiar with the hunter/trucker culture here that I was describing. In most countries, guns are treated sensibly without the rabid fervor we have here.

The more I think of this, the more it sounds like just what I'll need on the road for years!

Maybe I should have used that one, I like it a bit better: "I'll be all around in the dark... I'll be everywhere. Wherever you can look... wherever there's a fight, so hungry people can eat, I'll be there."

Mine was from The Three Amigos.

It's very powerful, very heroic, yet Tom Joad is a scrawny, underfed victim of the Depression and not someone who even has a horse or possessions like most superheroes. Of course this was the upbeat finale for the movie insisted on by moviemakers. Steinbook's book ends much differently, with virtually no hope of survival.
