My dear american (zoochat)fellows

As you all probably know, your senat has decided to implement a fee of 10 US-Dollars for persons* visiting USA.

The money the gouverment will earn thru this, should be but into projects to convey (!!!) tourism.

As a man, who really loves making vacation in your beautiful country, I have absolutely no appreciation for this scheme (sanction?).

Why should we suddenly pay a "entrance fee"? And what would Americans think, when we craving 10 Euros from each US-Citizen visiting a European Country.

So what has it to do with zoos? - Well, as far as I know, foreign tourists play a big role in some US zoos (e.g. San Diego). But after the Bush administration (that but the reputation of America to the ground for many Europeans) that will be another "reason" for a huge number of people, no longer visiting USA.

So know, I'm very interested what you are thinking about this?

*to be correct: From all the people that are citizens of a country which is associated to the US visa weaver program (Which are the most Western European Countries).

Edit: "So now" not "know" (sorry, was a little confused)

PS: Guess, now it is the time, that American zoochat members are waking up. I forgot the time difference....:)
