I just read this article on the BBC website and thought I would share it, it is mildly amusing yet also quite correct in some of my experiences of life in work.

BBC News - Animal behaviour in the boardroom

Also, dont forget...... Chimpanzees share about 99% of their genes with humans - giving us more in common than Asian and African elephants....... well stone me! where do these journalists come from :p:p.

You know what, I miss read what was being said on the website. :o I read it it as saying that humans and chimps are more closely related to each other than humans and elephants are. Having just read it again, now I see what they ae saying, it is that humans and chimps are more closely related genetically than the genetic relationship between Asian and African elephants.

Is the article still as bad as you originally thought? It doesn't seem too bad to me.

the actual article was OK, it was the bit that I misread that I was thinking was daft. As I originally stated in the first post "amusing yet also quite correct in some of my experiences of life in work".

Its just that I then went on to interpret a footnote by a journalist wrong myself that I was originally mocking, and made a minor buffoon of myself.!
