A new article about the $22 million Sanctuary Asia complex that just opened at Oklahoma City Zoo. With talk of having an 8-acre elephant exhibit, I wonder if that is the 2nd largest (after DAK) elephant enclosure(s) in the country?

My trip to Oklahoma earlier this year included visiting the zoo, this project was not finished at that time but the main pavilion appeared to be a huge piece of themed architecture towering above adjacent landscape. I wish I had delayed my visit to see this!
I wonder if the "Lotus Pavilion" is visible in the background of the bear exhibits in Oklahoma Trails?
It was indeed from the black bear area when I was there.
