According to the website, they have a cheetah lure at 10:30am on Saturdays. Has anyone seen this or know anything about it? I assume it is done in the regular exhibit?
 
Chai and Bamboo, the Woodland Park Zoo Elephants will not be arriving this week as planned. Inclement weather in the form of a storm that is expected to worsen has forced them to divert to the San Diego Zoo. They do not know how long the animals will remain in SD, however they made it there in good condition with some muscle stiffness according to the SD Zoo vets. They will of course be in quarantine.

I hope this means that they have integrated smoothly and that everything will be dull from now on. Dull for us that is, in the sense that there won't really be anything newsworthy to report in regards to their social dynamics. I want the Elephants to have a very enriching life.
