the pandas are in the area with the apes and monkeys

I believe the mappins had been closed for a quite few years before the bear mountain renovation. I think it just became unused whilst a number of different plans were developed and then rejected (gorillas, polar bears etc) and it took until the late 90s for it to be used again.

I'm guessing this map is from some point in the late 80s

I'm going for 1990/1/2: It's in the style of the 90's maps, and it's the closest date for the koalas to be marked.

I first visited London in 1985 and the Mappins were open. I have no photos of the Mappins from 1986 onwards, so I presume they were closed by then.

i needed a map for me doing my personal vision of it, and im thinking of having lions and sloth bears in the front of the mountains and snow leopards and either asiatic black bears or amur leopards on the mountains? What should i have?
