oldest living in captivity stats/studbooks

hello,

does anyone know if there are any online sources to search for lthe oldest living animals in captivity in say north american zoos? like oldest male lion, ect. ... also an up to date studbook resource. i tried the one google brings up from san diego zoo but some of the links either don't work or are outdated.

It wouldn't be too unwise to purchase this book:

NHBS - Longevity of Mammals in Captivity; from the Living Collections of the World - Richard Weigl

Five years old, yes, but a good source. You'll find this is a hard subject to find reliable data on. Weigl is a keeper at Frankfurt Zoo and very interested (almost obsessed with) longevity of captive animals. The late Marvin Jones of San Diego provided a lot of help in the making of this book.
