No the female is still the same yellow-cheeked. After a look on ZTL the timeline should be this:

1995: 1.0 white-cheeked gibbon "Joey" arrived
2008: 0.1 yellow-cheeked gibbon arrives to accompany the lonely white-cheeked gibbon
2019: 1.0 white-cheeked "Joey" dies
2020: 1.0 yellow-cheeked gibbon "Joey junior" arrives to be paired with the remainining 0.1 yellow-cheeked.

Thanx for clearing it up as it was getting rather confusing.
 
Four fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox) have been born at Pakawi Park. The birth happened on June 20th already but wasn't announced until today. The cubs are doing well in the cubbing box in the female's enclosure. This is the first time fossas have been born in the low countries (although there was a previous birth at Pakawi Park, but that cub only lived very briefly).

Pakawi has opened an account to gather money for the new Monkey Island. This will house the chimpansees. In a later stadium the gibbons, lemurs and treeshrews will follow. This island will be build on the old tiger-islands.

Once finished they hope to participate in a breeding-program with their eastern chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes schweinfurthii)

The main parkinglot-has been adjusted.The original parking is a driveway to the old bus-parking. Cars are placed next to the elephants nowadays.

As mentioned above, the new monkey-islands will be build on the old-tiger islands (number 2 on the map).

Some recent news from Pakawi Park:

A new species has arrived at the zoo: Blue-throated piping-guan (Pipile cumanensis), according to the zoo's website multiple (common) bird species left the zoo in order to give room to new species.
The following species have left the collection: Great horned owl (Bubo virginianus), Turquoise-fronted Amazon (Amazona aestiva aestiva), Rosy-faced lovebird (Agapornis roseicollis),
Chaco owl (Strix chacoensis), Eurasian tawny owl (Strix aluco), Golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos), Rose-breasted cockatoo (Eolophus roseicapilla) and Senegal turaco (Tauraco persa buffoni). According to the website closely related species of the ones that left are still present in the zoo.

Yesterday (29th of April) a ring-tailed lemur was born, the group now consists of 5 animals (2,2,1).

A female Large hairy armadillo/Big hairy armadillo (Chaetophractus villosus) has arrived from Familiepark Harry Malter to hopefully mate with the male that was already present at the park. Familiepark Harry Malter has a pair of Large hairy armadillos but they have never bred, therefore she was send on a breeding loan to Pakawi Park.

Two new tigers (non-subspecies specific, although labeled at the zoo as Bengal tigers) have arrived at Pakawi Park from Mondo Verde in the Netherlands. Their names are Waka and Iwa and they are the younger brother and sister to Awi, who already lives at Pakawi Park, and her brother Paka who died from a sudden intestinal infection in February, as they have the same parents.

The new tigers have gone through a quarantine and are now visible to visitors. They are still separated from Awi as they are still getting used to her, but are planned to eventually live with her.
