Online article on weird zoos

Here is a really off beat article (online slide show) on "unusual zoos." After viewing the first half, I thought it should have been titled "bad zoos." Then they throw in Ngorongor Crater, as if they think it is a zoo? However, there is a very interesting find near the end. Apparently there is a sloth breeding and education center in Oregon (USA). Who knew? Also a reptile place in southern California that I did not know about.

I can't open the article but if I were you then I'd try and ignore anything you read on the internet today. ;)

Even if it was April 1st, I saw this article about 3 days ago, but didn't post about it on here. But it is a weird article, and I think the fact that they included the Ngorongoro Crater says a lot about their intelligence.

I can't open the article
same here. It has the title but then the page just automatically switches to local NZ weather before it finishes loading. And the only link I can find online is the one Arizona Docent provided so no luck for anyone outside the USA I guess.

Regarding the Ngorongoro Crater, loads of sites call it things along the lines of "the world's biggest zoo", "if nature had created a zoo", "Africa's biggest zoo" and suchlike terms. So probably not surprising it ends up on lists like the one the link is about.

That sloth place looks really interesting though!!
(Here for anyone that missed it on another thread: http://www.chasing-tail.com/
....weird that the website name is "chasing-tail.com" though.....)
