They also revealed they plan on opening a new palm-themed greenhouse, for which building will begin in the latter half of this year. This new greenhouse will be separate from the current greenhouse and be built next to the parking area. It will be connected to the current indoor area by a tunnel:

The "shell" of the greenhouse is now finished, but it doesn't have an interior yet. During the winter event, it will be used to house a market. The first palm trees will also be placed during the event.

In size and design they look barely alike.. Unless they are two more of these over time next to it?

Bram, the male (red morph) Green iguana was unfortunately found dead in the butterfly valley today. This animal came from a rescue centre and lived in the greenhouse since 2022, but since he was a rescue they unfortunately do not know how old he was.

The body was sent to Utrecht university to find out what the cause of death was, upon first inspection it appears Bram died painlessly from a heart attack
