The carnivores at Camperdown are getting a new addition to the their diets and doing their bit for an endangered squirrel.

Camperdown has been doing this for years. I wonder why its suddenly made the headlines?

Not only that it is hardly a 'new' diet. I was feeding greys to lynx, wild cats, pine martens, polecats, foxes and wolves at a previous place of employment. We used to get wood pigeons and rabbits regularly, and were also offered canada geese. I can imagine that many zoos that have access to game-keeper's kills do the same.
