Greater Cleveland Aquarium "Other" Cleveland Aquarium projects?

Does anybody know what happened to the non-profit group formerly spearheaded by Dr. Chris Bonar (now of the Dallas World Aquarium) which was proposing a different venture than our new facility? Their website is now dead and I've lost touch with my old contact. I know it was comprised of former Sea World of Ohio and old (Gordon Park) Cleveland Aquarium individuals. I was always a much bigger fan of their campaign, which sounded like something more in-line with the mid-sized Newport Aquarium. From what I understood, they even had equipment moth-balled. With the new, for-profit facility open, should I assume their dreams have now grown cold?

A Berea Ohio business man by the name of Russ Hill had been involved in trying to build a aquarium on the site of the old Port Authority behind Cleveland Browns Stadium. The project was called Rock Harbour Aquarium or something like that.We talked to this gentleman several times but not since the powerhouse aquarium which is a pretty weak attempt at a real aquarium was opened. We got his E mail address around here somewhere if your interested.

@ Team Tapir - I did hear of that project, but the one I'm speaking of is actually different from that one. I know the non-profit group had issues with local government; for anyone who might be familiar with the recent county corruption scandals in Cuyahoga County, in retrospect, I wonder how much pushback might have been encountered from the former Commissioners' Office?

I'm well aware two ventures in one city wouldn't fly, but as you mentioned, despite being a member, I had such higher hopes for than what was created.
