Edinburgh Zoo Otto hurt or accidently marked himself on something?

Oh dear, never expected any of this when I started the thread.

I only wished to find out some information as I was unable to manage so at the zoo at the time.
 
The hippo keepers were aware of the problem as it was reported earlier on. He had a small gash which was checked and found to be superficial (it looks worse than it was) and did not require veterinary treatment.
I dont know what caused it but he is absolutely fine. :)

i feel i have also been aggressive, i apologise .. i really don't mean to be so forward. I can assure you that i do not know Scorg , or for that matter I am not his alter ego ... i'm very pleased to hear that things are superficial. I'm also pleased that Scorg's procedure actually worked, hence my defence implied. I still feel he did as much as he could .. but hey...

My original intention to join here was to post some great pictures of some red pandas in action .. hopefully in time i will share this fantastic moment.

again .. sorry for coming across as an eejit
