Paignton Zoo Paignton Zoo News 2019

I don't understand why they were in quarantine or I have I got it wrong as both of these species are now seen in the wild in the UK

The Night Herons in the owl aviary are juveniles and I think, although I've never managed to spot them, the pair in the Brookside Aviary are adults. The Egrets look like Cattle Egrets rather than Little Egrets.(That was the situation when I photographed them a few weeks ago anyway - see Gallery, although I didn't post my blurry Egret shot)
