I was an adoptive parent of the Fishing Cats for for over 20 years, and was devastated when I was advised that the Zoo "is no longer supporting" Fishing Cats, and that my support was being transferred to the Pallas Cat. I was not provided with a specific reason as to why the Fishing Cats are no longer at the Zoo. Can anyone provide a response? The transfer of my support to the Pallas Cat was done without inquiring as to whether it was acceptable to me. Fortunately, I will be pleased to support the Pallas Cat going forward. However, I have visited the Pallas Cat exhibit 6 times, and have never seen the Pallas Cat. Where does it hide? When is the best time to potentially view it? How many Pallas Cats does the Zoo have. If more than one, I assume only one is on exhibit at a time.
