West Palm Beach attraction: Check out Zoo's new Tiger Forest exhibit
I just went to the newly revamped exhibit and it was really nice. I got to see one of their Tigers up close with the glass pane view. It was my first time seeing one up close and I was surprised by how big the head is! It's crazy to imagine male Lions have even bigger heads.
I would say this makes the Tiger exhibit better than the one in Zoo Miami, well for us visitors I guess. I think the MD Habitat still gives them a bit more running space.
So it looks like the original cage is still there, however there are sky bridges that interconnect the new cages. So there are two new ones, one of them has the glass view which I already mentioned and a third one on the other side adjacent to the cage with the viewing glass, and it seems like all are accessible by the tigers granted the Zoo opens the skyway doors for them.

On September 3rd, the zoo opened a new off-show building for the rehabilitation of sea turtles called the Sea Turtle Care & Conservation Hospital.

6K views · 87 reactions | Our Sea Turtle Hospital is Open! Two years ago, this was just an idea, the hope of fulfilling a need and creating a place where sea turtles could recover from injuries and receive specialized care. We are overjoyed to announce… that dream has come to life with the opening of the Sea Turtle Care & Conservation Hospital! Located behind the scenes at the Palm Beach Zoo in West Palm Beach, our hospital isn’t open to the public, but that won’t stop us from bringing you along on this journey. We’ll be sharing patient updates, recovery stories, and moments of hope, while also connecting with so many of you at our outreach events. This is a place of healing, of hope, and compassion. A place where sea turtles, like these little ones, can rest, rehabilitate, and grow strong enough to return to the ocean. We are thrilled to partner with the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society, a conservation leader in its own right, where our vision has become a reality. STCCS is deeply grateful to our donors and volunteers whose generosity has supported our mission and made possible the construction of our new sea turtle tanks and water filtration system. The journey is just beginning, and we’re honored to share it with you. Please help us spread the word like this post, share it, and help us reach even more people who love sea turtles as much as we do! From all of us at STCCS, thank you for believing in us, standing beside us, and joining us on this journey. As we begin this next chapter, your continued support will help us purchase the specialized equipment and medicine that make lifesaving care possible. Together, we can give every sea turtle the best chance at recovery.
