zoo pro, am i right in guessing your at a conference on the global amphibian crisis? zoos, universities, botanical gardens and museums have been called to arms to try and save frogs, world wide.the conference is based in atlanta, georgia and australia has sent a delegation.

Ruahin the female giant panda has given birth to 1.1 twins on Saturday, she herself was born in Japan.

9 year old Ruahin has again given birth to twins at the zoo (1.1), yesterday, the birth was through a natural mating.

Adventure World is returning all four of their Giant Pandas to China soon.

They are planning to transfer them during June. Their quarantine period will be one month, and they will be able to be viewed in the indoor exhibit. Considering this, there will be only a few weeks left to see the pandas in the outdoor exhibit.

This means that the only Giant Pandas remaining in Japan will be the two animals in Ueno Zoo.

Renegotiations for a new pair will likely commence following the return of their current group. It would be good to get another breeding pair at Adventure World yet again following Eimei's return to China in 2023.

However Japanese and Chinese relations have deteriorated in recent years so it remains to be foreseen whether negotiations will be successful or not.
