A female red panda born 2022 at Zoo Liberec is sheduled to be sent to La Torbiera this autumn.
 
I have visited La Torbiera last months and just finished uploading photos. The park is not large, but the collection is truly mouth-watering for someone coming from the US. There are very few ABC species, and most of the species are absent from the US (many as far as I know are rare in Europe). The collection is mammal-heavy, with definite focus on small and medium-sized carnivores and Asian hoofstock (and Asian hoofstock species are pretty much disappearing from the US). There is just one species of primates (buff-cheeked gibbon), a few birds, and no reptiles. The zoo is located in a forest surrounding a large lake, with lots of mature trees everywhere. Most exhibits are naturalistic and covered with vegetation to such an extent that patience is often needed to see the animals. Nevertheless after spending a whole day in the zoo, I was able to see and photograph all of my target species, except for corsac foxes
