Each year since 2012 a pair of peregrine falcons has nested on top of the British Telecomm tower in the centre of Stoke-on-Trent (Hanley). For the first two years the eggs were infertile. They reared their first youngsters in 2014 (5), then 4 in 2015, and 3 last year and this year.
The nest site is just over a mile from where I live, and occasionally a young peregrine has been seen in my garden.
