I created this to learn more about Perth zoo's past and to teach others as well because Perth Zoo doesn't usually like to share their past for some reason, anyway....
any info, videos or pictures help

this is an aerial picture taken in 1993, does anybody have any pictures or videos featuring something on this map?

(zoo starts 1:05)

(zoo starts 12:33)

(zoo starts about 1:04)

(zoo really starts at 0:23)

with that 1993 aerial you found, its not official, did that in 2022 by copying the aerial from an online digital copy from WA state heritage library (but the exhibits are accurate to the year and time).

@Jayden8763 Btw welcome to ZooChat man, nice to meet you :)

it says black leopard meaning it must be melanistic, they could have gotten either so much money, so many visitors or both. anybody have a picture or video of it?

Would love if someone had gotten photos or a video of her. Yeah she was black-coated, a female Leopard apparently from Melbourne Zoo originally. She left in January 1994 for Gorge Wildlife Park in SA, and male Sumatran Tiger - Calang took over her exhibit (her and the Persian Leopards are in the wrong exhibits technically on the aerial, I thought they used to swap exhibits for enirchment sometimes but could be wrong).

well although no photos are posted online of her there is almost 100% an existing photo of her somewhere. and there is a high chance that someone on zoochat has it

Actually sometimes and quite often there are no photos any of the members actually have of particular individual animals from the past as weren't able to be there and take one at the time. Best bet would be to email Perth Zoo and ask man.

and about your species gained and/or lost at perth zoo post, i am currently working on a canva in which i have found many photos of these creatures and either left them as is or put them into colour. https://www.canva.com/design/DAGTWI...share&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton

That is awesome man, so exciting, cant wait to see. Great work btw.

(I don't think its the same black Leopard but it might be and if not think it may be the cub of that Leopard though) - photos at Gorge
