I believe that the only thing left on the current renovations is the to restore 'the old aivery' which they have decided to keep the original works of and display as a way to show how much zoo's have changed.

Yeah hopefully as it's had a "my enclosure is currently being cleaned" sign on it for 7 yearsthats good to know
i cant remember if i mentioned this in other threads but i heard that the old otter enclosure could be use in the future if funding is given to upgrade it
The old aviary has been removed and commemorated with interpretation (its foundations remain as visitor seating) but the adjacent c.1934 'monkey house' and 'feedstore' has been retained as the "Pavilion' - reinforcing the original limestone pillars and walls and augmenting it with new roof.I believe that the only thing left on the current renovations is the to restore 'the old aivery' which they have decided to keep the original works of and display as a way to show how much zoo's have changed.
