Yes and she is the last of her taxa left in the AZA. Philadelphia had the last three Mhorr iirc, but the other two died off years ago now.

The Reptile & Amphibian House and barnyard are open.
Finally! Hopefully, there are new species in there.
If anyone notices anything new in there, make sure to give an update!

I think geladas and ibex and maybe hyrax would make a nice replacement. The zoos had many primates and geladas would be a nice addition. The paddock should be big enough for a large group maybe around 20 plus a few hyrax and a small group of ibex or barbary sheep.
Where could they potentially go?

Yeah, I don't see it. Unseen is a decent sized underground holding building for the hogs, storks and gazelle, however I doubt it would be even worth it to undergo a massive renovation holding-wise for geladas, ibex and hyrax. And that's coming from someone who wants AFRICAN ELEPHANTS AND POLAR BEARS back at the zoo, come hell or high water. I do agree that the zoo should bring in more primate species, such as Allen's swamp monkeys, Schmidt's red-tailed guenons, mandrills, etc.
20 Geladas would be an insane number... and then you'd be throwing in a caprine and a small mammal. Beyond just the indoor holding, I don't think the perimeter walls are primate proof.

The zoo has recently welcomed Mongoose Lemur, Lar Gibbon, Humboldt Penguin, and Hoffmann’s Two-toed Sloth babies. The ropes course, carousel, and KidZooU building will be opening soon.
The gibbon was born May 21 to mom Phoenice. It's her 5th.
The penguin is named Juice and is being raised by foster parents, who also cared for the egg. They'll know the sex in a few weeks, after a blood test.
The lemur was born memorial day weekend to Natasha and Ernesto. No name or sex.
The sloth was born May 27 to first-time mom Latte and dad Jabba.
They've been working on introducing 98 year old Abrazzo to 90+ year old Mommy with the hope of breeding. They met for the first time last month, with a mesh fence between them, and it went well.

That is really good to learn as male Abrazzo was the prime breeder at Riverbanks in Columbia before. I wonder whether female Mommy is yet the egg laying kind. Would be great to know if someone could find out.
