That is obviously an Australian drop bear. I presume the photographer was killed shorty after this picture was taken

Indeed I visited the museum in question in 2015, and was very pleased to discover the genuine fossil was on-display rather than a mere cast - one of several Archaeopteryx specimens I have now seen.

The other particularly notable thing on-display in that museum, incidentally, was several portions of the type material for Europasaurus holgeri.
