I uploaded 31 new photos of this tiny Minnesota Zoo, the first such photos in the ZooChat gallery.
 
By June 2019, the zoo had exhibits for Arctic foxes and kinkajous, as well as two 5-week old (at the time) North American porcupines named Eugene and Morris.

In mid-2020, an orphaned North American river otter named Tilly was brought over to the zoo from the Wild and Free Wildlife Rehabilitation Program in Crow Wing County, Minnesota.

On June 19th, the zoo announced a photography contest that runs until September 7th. The goal of the contest is to "recognize outstanding photography that celebrates the beauty of Pine Grove Zoo and its animals," and is accessible to both adults and children. Categories include: 12 and under, junior ages 12-17, animal portrait, black and white, and Fan Favorite* (*Will be voted on Facebook).

On July 6th, the zoo is planning to open an exhibit for "a group of squirrel monkeys" adjacent to the river otter exhibit in August.

A pair of Arctic Foxes & Red Foxes have moved into the two grassy former Black Baer Enclosures, restricting the last elderly bear to the concrete middle exhibit.
 
News since July 2020;

On November 21st, 2020, the zoo announced that they have acquired a (0.1) great horned owl named Mandy. Her exhibit is next to the grey wolves.

On November 29th, the zoo announced they have acquired a (0.1) red-tailed hawk named Teal. Her exhibit is next to the great horned owl.

On June 1st, 2021, the zoo announced that (0.0.4) black-tailed prarire dogs were born and are on exhibit.

On June 8th, the zoo announced they have acquired a then 10-week-old (1.0) North American river otter named DJ from the Wild and Free Wildlife Rehabilitation Organization in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. He has a temporary exhibit next to the squirrel monkeys.

On February 11th, 2023, the zoo announced that they acquired a (0.0.1) snow leopard which will be on exhibit in the future.*

On April 25th, the zoo announced that a (0.1) red kangaroo named Rubi Roo was born which is now on exhibit.

*The zoo has not announced anything past February, though the map was updated to show where the exhibit would be.
 
On August 23rd, the zoo announced that they acquired a (0.1) domestic guinea pig named Mrs. Feeny which is an animal ambassador.

On July 27th, the zoo announced they installed a new entrance sign.

On April 17th, 2024, it was reported that the zoo acquired (1.1) coati (species not specified) named Clyde and Bonnie in autumn 2023 which are now on exhibit.

On July 10th, the zoo announced they installed a new misting station which is open to the public.
