They are not due to be on exhibit for up to two years. I expect they will be in the Conservation Solarium. It is going to be the zoo's conservation and research hub.

Yes I am aware of what the conservation solarium is

I know you know. That remark was for anyone who is new to this thread. The zoo has not really mentioned it much publicly since last summer. Planning is currently taking place. I hope we get more information by the fall since it is going to take longer to build than The Islands and Jungle Odyssey. I cannot wait for the bypass around the old bear exhibits is complete. Two more neighborhoods to go after Jungle Odyssey's opening.

My apologies tigervalley. But I agree I am also going to look forward to it and can't wait to hear more info because they will probably do what they didn't at The Islands with the sign previewing the next exhibit. And it will most likely open in 2019 as not only is it a large indoor building but there will be the indoor outdoor orangutan exhibit which I cannot wait for

Hopefully it will be well lit. I wish they would improve the lighting in the current exhibit. Add a couple windows near the top for sunlight. I wish they would get an outdoor area too. If not they should do what Erie has with the big door and a small outdoor area. Something to allow some fresh air into the exhibit at least.

Pangolins will go in Conservation Solarium. That is the current plan. App will be updated with Jungle Odyssey on Friday. A new website will launch hopefully around June 1st.

Yes the exhibits look very generic (just grass plots and all more or less the same). Certainly not a "jungle odyssey" as I would envision a jungle. Also what are giant anteaters doing there? They are grassland animals, not jungle animals.

What do you mean? South America is just one big jungle, everyone knows that :P

(Sarcasm)

I do hope it turns out better than that video makes it seem to be. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
