Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium Pittsburgh zoo species list 2017

No the zoo does not have silvery cheeked hornbills

I hope they fill that exhibit at some point. Especially since you have to go through that exhibit. At one point the National Aviary sponsored that exhibit and multiple species lived there.

Note: this is all I know and I can say there are more species these are the ones I know the zoo has

UPDATES FOR OFF EXHIBIT AND COLOBUS NUMBERS:
The zoo actually has 6 colobus instead of 3.
Here are the other off exhibit species:
Cotton topped tamarin: 5
Milk frog
Three banded armadillo
Kestrels
Tarantulas (not sure of subspecies)

for some animals you list I know there is more than one species or one ssp in American zoos, can you narrow them down?

3 banded armadillo--American zoos usually have Brazilian (tricinctus) or southern/La Plata (matacus) species; latter is more common, but I know of at least 4 Texan locations including Dallas hold Brazilian

binturong--some collections hold Bornean (pageli), Javan (penicillatus), or Palawan (whitei), held at San Diego; Virginia; and Bronx respectively

black rhino--eastern (michaeli) and southern (minor) races both common in AZA zoos

b&w colobus--Tanzanian (angolensis palliatus), Sclater's (angolensis angolensis), and Kikuyu (guereza kikuyuensis) are all common in AZA zoos

dama gazelle--addra (ruficollis) is more common, but some zoos hold Mhorr (mhorr) race

ocelot--northern (pardalis pardalis) or Brazilian (pardalis mitis) race?

red panda--western (fulgens fulgens) and eastern (fulgens styani) are both in AZA zoos; former is more common, latter I know is at Houston and San Diego

river otter--I don't know how many subspecies are kept distinct in AZA breeding, but San Diego keeps the pacifica race

tree kangaroo--Goodfellows (goodfellowi) and Huon (matschiei) are common in AZA collections; bennettianus and inustus species I know have been in USA in past (maybe present)

Goodfellow's are gone and i would assume the last two also
