Sitatunga and Bottlenose Dolphin added! Interestingly enough for the dolphin it appears the ZT2 model from Aurora Designs was able to be imported and used. This definitely brings potential!

A question for those of you using mods; whenever I exit the game with mods installed it just sits on a black screen and crashes my computer. It won't fully exit the game until I fully restart the computer. Anyone else experience this before?

More specifically does anyone know what causes it and how to fix it? I didn't make that very clear initially, sorry!

Fixed, the cause being Purewinter's Przewalski's Horse mod for some strange reason.

One of the changes I expected the most in PZ has arrived today to nexus: A possibility to make habitats for "exhibit animals"! The "placeable" green iguana model was released today, and I'm looking forward to see many others coming soon. Those pre made exhibits are one of the few points in the game that I consider truly bad.

I'm kinda of overwhelmed to see lots of mods being released since that means that the community is more alive than ever, but on the other hand I'm actually preoccupied for Frontier, if they see that people can do whatever they want, why would they continue the development, and worst of all, why would they give us aquariums and aviaries? Frontier is known to be a little cheecky b*****d when it comes of modding, they even made it almost impossible to mod pterosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution, and they never gave us any kind of aquarium or lagoon: they're very self-contradictory and act surprised every time someone points that out; my conclusion is, mods are a way to let this game live its legacy, but isn't it a bit too early?

The biggest factor in mods at the moment is that people are frustrated with the low number, slow animal releases. Many fan favorites were locked away in DLCs and also the deluxe version. Frontier isn't meeting what people want real well. Easily 95 percent of the current mods are animals and their education signs; I believe there is only 1 construction mod at all. Most people are far more interested in animals than new building pieces, there's been a fair bit of disappointment that the next pack will only contain the standard 5 animals.
