Frontier is a Bovid and Crocodilian lover, not a Primate lover. Primates are highly diverse. Black Howlers, Tamarin, Marmosets, and even golden snub-nosed monkeys require unique models. Although they are offered by the Modders, still have unfixable defects due to the different body shapes btw them and the original species. For example, Marmosets, the Mod one has too long arms b/c the model comes from other monkeys, while the Marmosets and tamarins in real life have short arms. As I mentioned above, the Frontier doesn't want to spend time on making more models for Primates, not only due to the shortage of staff and budget, but also explained by the complex animation, as well as the furry faces of Primates that also cost big effort to work on.
