Planet Zoo Planet Zoo!

What species? I personally haven't seen or heard of any reptile that actually has a tank size limit, but I would be interested in some examples. Also, I'm still pretty sure that most reptiles don't stay in a tiny tank-sized enclosure, so hypothetically you could probably still get a very large tank without issue (as some people have made literal open rooms for their reptiles).

Technically there's no limit, but smaller is recommended. Mandarin Rat Snake is one, also babies of a few different snake species reputably do better in small exhibits. They eat better and are less nervous, I don't remember any of the specific species off the top of my head. If I remember more species I'll make note here.

But what I think (and not just me, also big part of the community) that we are lacking of Europe EXCLUSIVE creatures, because all the animals that rn are listed to live in Europe are at least in one other Continent: I'm even accepting the rarest subspecies.

I honestly don't know what they consider while choosing the species to be released... Many famous animals are not in the game, while, as you said, we have two species of brown bears, wolves and tortoises...
Maybe it's a) because they can use the same model to quickly and easily create another species to cut down development time, and b) save some of the popular ones for the DLC.

As someone mentioned previously, the meerkat is conspicuously absent, as is any kind of African rhino! I'd love an African-themed pack together with the caracal (although I hope the latter is cheaper than in Zoo Tycoon 2...$45,000 each in that one!!)

Yeah but... We already have a lot of african animals so maybe for a later date or in a pack with another theme

The animals in this a pack are all welcome editions to the game and they all look really good, I just wish we'd get a few more each time instead of as many different scenery objects I mean would it kill them to give us an African rhino?

Hear hear. Leopard and California Sealion would be nice too... also more primates! We have 4 great apes, 2 lemurs, a macaque, and a capuchin. No baboons, guenons, colobuses, langurs, howlers, squirrel monkeys, marmosets, or gibbons... all of which are pretty easy to find in captivity!

I would love to see douc langurs, proboscis monkeys, spider monkeys, gibbons, and colobuses.

I'd love to see Maned Wolf, Clouded Leopard, Malayan Tapir, Yellow-backed Duiker, Crested Porcupine, Capybara, and a Two-toed Sloth added, in addition to the aforementioned species.

Really hoping for more birds, even if we get a pack of ground birds. Emu, rhea, pelicans, storks, cranes, bustards, swans, Secretarybird, ground hornbills, are all easy to do as ground dwellers with minimal flying.

I honestly understand the no flight thing - I'm sure that's very difficult to program. But even so there are plenty of birds that could still be added - cranes, storks, waterfowl, ratites, ect.

It is difficult for sure, but not impossible. The ZT2 mod community has cranked out a ton of birds that do fly to a reasonable extent, as well as bats. Even so I hope they at least give us more ground-oriented birds sooner or later.

Yeah but the themes are almost unlimited, and with the animals also the structures. If we ever get a "Japanese Pack" I bet all my money we'll get some neon stuff and anime style mascottes, and maybe, just maybe, some additional stuff for the japanese architecture set

I'd like it if we could eventually get flying birds, but for now I wish they would add some other kinds. I'd totally be down for some swans.

Yeah, swans would be really great to be part of some nice ancient zoo ponds. Cranes and herons, as some people also mentioned, would be pretty useful as well.
Designed a new Herpetarium building with an exhibit for the Cuvier's dwarf caiman right in the center! I hope their space requirements aren't big cause I don't want to have to revamp it.
I don't actually care for planet zoo animal space requirements lol :D. When I'm building any exhibit, I look for pictures of structures from zoos I consider good, and make them more or less in the same size. Koalas, for example, have a ridiculous land area requirement in the game, and we can make great realistic exhibits for them with less than half of the defined size.

Fun fact, the minimum space requirements for almost all habitat animals are between 2 and 4 times larger than the recommended exhibit size by AZA and EAZA. So it's really Planet Safari Park. :p
