Planet Zoo Planet Zoo!

I have a feeling that black/white rhinoceros will also make it into an African DLC, alongside meerkats. I wouldn't be surprised if something like a fennec/bat-eared fox made an appearance as well.

I'd prefer if they added species like: black-and-white colobus, red-flanked/yellow-backed duiker, olive baboon, ververts, or things like ground hornbills.

I wouldn't be surprised if they added another species of antelope or hyena to the game, in all honesty. I can also see them adding a ratel. As they're a somewhat popular African species.[/QUOTE]

Knowing their track record for DLC animals, we'll probably get another wolf species somewhere down the line which would be fine if it was a Maned Wolf.

You could make a walkthrough kangaroo exhibit in the sandbox mode, if that's your style. I'm genuinely surprised they didn't make them an animal that guests can enter the exhibit with. I agree with the statement that frontier doesn't do as much research as they claim. They do more than other zoo games do, but not as much as I'd hope.

Colobuses would be nice because there aren't many monkey species in the game

The current primate selection is a good start, but I really hope we get more in future updates. I have an urge to build a primate area for my zoo.

I think the DLCs are disappointing, honestly. They have so much potential to create these big packs filled with all sorts of animals but instead they waste their effort on decoration pieces. Why even bother?

Given how detailed the animal management component is, maybe adding new animals is a lot of work. New decor probably doesn't take as much effort. Still, I bet a lot of players would be happy if they released a pack with just new animals.

I ended up getting the Australia pack. I was like, it's only ten bucks, so screw it, lol. Really wanted those critters. I don't plan on getting the Arctic pack until it's available for a low price though. If the next DLC has good stuff I'll buy it right away.

I suggest they just make primate, big cat, bird, and ungulate packs separately alongside the continental dlc, that way there's no pressure to squeeze baboons, leopards, parrots, ect.) into other packs. They could either just be species or maybe a whole pack complete with new items. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not a comment on the game itself, but I just found out about this great song someone made about it containing a great conservation message and thought it should be neat to share on here:

Mind you, I don’t have Planet Zoo, but I’ll be darned if this ain’t my new spirit song.
Gosh darn you. I've been listening to this song on repeat because it's now stuck in my head.

Primate Priorities:
- Gibbon species (Crested?)
- Coquerel's Sifaka
- Sulawesi Black Macaque
- Squirrel Monkey
- Aye-Aye
- Javan Langur
I think Olive Baboon and Siamangs have a good chance of being added. I also think they could possibly include Hamadryas Baboon, Barbary Macaque, other gibbons, and howler monkeys.

"minor" yeah it conked out my computer so hard that my keyboard stopped functioning fully for like, 2 hours
