I'm really hoping for any kind of Asian hoofstock, besides the rhino and camel. Something like Gaurs, Nilgais, Bantengs, muntjacs, etc. I'm also thinking that there's a lack of small carnivores in the game and Pallas' Cats would fit nicely into an Asian pack. I could go on and on with birds, but one I would think would be very interesting and easy to implement is the Maleo. I would also like to see gibbons, Siamangs, and Malayan Tapirs, but there are already Baird's Tapirs, so I don't think that would happen.

We have two different Brown Bears, both giant tortoises, Gray and Arctic wolves, Bengal and Siberian Tigers... so probably not all that unlikely. :p
At least Baird's and Malayan Tapirs look notably different unlike some of those!
 
I wonder if the inclusion of aquatic animals is going to mean new building and gameplay features. Because if so, I wouldn't be surprised if we get that stuff and maybe an animal or two in a free update. So far all of the DLC packs have just been visual additions, new decor and building styles and animals but not new game features. If adding aquatic animals will mean the addition of tanks I think it would make more sense to have that as a free update, that way they'd be able to include aquatic animals in any future DLC pack.
 
In my opinion the Sun Bear will be part of an Asian DLC for other animals my choices would be;
Pere David's Deer, Mongolian Wild Horse, Binturong and King Cobra for an Exhibit animal.

I think there will be an aquatic pack, which maybe limited to semi-aquatic animals like seals and otters, though they could also introduce a fish tank style mini-exhibit for smaller fish like Piranhas, clownfish, and tangs. I also am praying for an aviary DLC to allow us to add birds which are a big part of modern zoos.
 
I believe there will be a total of 9 DLC packs to cover all bases and based on remaining information this is what I would do for the remaining 6 packs

1. North America pack - Moose, Wolverine, American Beaver, Florida Panther and Alligator Snapping Turtle for an exhibit animal. I strongly believe we need a larger variety of exhibit animals

2. Asia Pack - Sun Bear, Binturong, Pere David's Deer, Mongolian Wild Horse and King Cobra for an exhibit animal. I really want the cobra and the horse

3. Africa Pack - Black Rhinoceros, Caracal, Meerkat, African Crested Porcupine and the Veiled Chameleon for an exhibit animal.

4.Ornithology Pack - Would include 4 habitat birds; Rockhopper Penguin, Trumpeter Swan, Emu and Marabou Stork and introduce the Aviary mini-exhibit with 10 available birds; Kookaburra, Bald Eagle, Snowy Owl, Scarlet Macaw, Greater Bird-of-Paradise, Rhinoceros Hornbill, Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, Toco Toucan, Barn Owl, Common Raven

5. Marine Biology Pack - Would include 4 semi-aquatic habitat animals; Grey Seal, California Sea Lion, Giant Otter and King Penguin. It would also introduce the aquarium mini exhibit with 10 available animals; Ocellaris Clownfish, Blue Tang, Red Bellied Piranha, Electric Eel, Common Octopus, Japanese Spider Crab, Boesmani's Rainbowfish, Volitan's Lionfish, Emperor Angelfish

6. Biodiversity Pack - The final pack would tie up loose ends and fill up any missing spots with around 10 habitat animals; Musk Ox, American Alligator, White Rhinoceros, White-Handed Gibbon, Clouded Leopard, Fennec Fox, Capybara, Addax, Two-Toed Sloth and Tasmanian Devil
In addition 10 new animals for each mini exhibt type
Terrarium - Orchid Mantis, Coconut Crab, Hercule's Beetle, Frilled Lizard, Tokay Gecko, Tuatara, Red-Eared Slider, Cane Toad, Hellbender and Indigo Snake
Aviary - Rainbow Bee-Eater, New Zealand Kiwi, Turtle Dove, Golden Pheasant, California Condor, Eurasian Black Vulture, Red-Tailed Hawk, Scarlet Ibis, Hyacinth Macaw, African Crowned Crane
Aquarium - Leafy Sea Dragon, Yellow Perch, Moon Jellyfish, Schooling Bannerfish, Koi, Epaulette Shark, Green Moray Eel, Panther Grouper, Porcupine Pufferfish, Midas Chichlid
 
It'd be nice if they took some of the animals of the X-Box Zoo Tycoon that were relegated to mini-exhibits and put them in Planet Zoo as proper exhibit animals. They've already done quite a handful of those.
 
Here's a dlc idea: the recolor pack. Over 5 habitat animals which are very blatant recolors/slightly adjusted models including Eastern grey kangaroo, sitatunga, green peafowl. It is sold for cheap so a lot of people buy it, making profit for frontier.

I would really like that pack, as long as they're anatomically correct for the species.

Here is my idea for recolor pack; Green Peafowl, Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Masai Giraffe, Perentie, Striped Hyena
 
Do you guys think there's an actual chance that we'll be getting aviaries and birds soon? Many people in YT are saying there's a big probability we're getting' em, as well as aquatic critters; in the next DLC that is about to be released...
