Great building!Burgers Zoo in the Netherlands Tiger Enclosure, difficult build as there is a path runs under the exhibit.
No Aviaries on the horizon yet.Great building!
By the way, has anyone had any news from news about new dlc's or something? I'm incredibly anxious to get my aviaries!
New The next DLC will likely be based around Asia
and other asian flying critters, just to give the impulse for the aviaries in the game, wich I hope to come in the free update too...
Yeah, anything that flies and bring aviaries would be fine for me. If the pack is composed by sun bear, flying fox, hornbill... Would surely improve the game.Flying foxes maybe?Would be nice to see bats represented by at least one species.
New Well IMO, if Frontier's objective is to keep the game's hype for longer, it would release updates slowly, so, in this case, they would take a while to release the aviary pack...
I was really baffled they prioritised arthropods over a larger variety of herps, considering the exhibits are way oversized and they're barely visible. There are still less than half a dozen birds, no Meerkat, sealions, leopard, no deer of any kind, no cobras or geckos, alligators, gibbons, no small cats or dogs, African rhinos... but we can have wandering spiders, Giant burrowing cockroaches, and two kinds of brown bear...![]()

Tarantula breeding at least guarantees some easy conservation creditsAs were most of us. There's too many of them for how tiny they are and the relative interest in having them in game. I think Frontier has realized this since no new invertebrates have appeared in the DLCs. The arthropods were a nice thought, but a lot of people mostly ignore them or only use one or two species out of many.
I'm glad at least they've brought out some more unusual and interesting animals like the Giant Anteaters and Giant Otters but we need some more cliché if you like to complete the zoo set like the African Rhinos & Meerkats. As were most of us. I think the same. Even after the aquatic pack, there are many things missing to build a fairly realistic zoo.Seems to me they're losing hype because of the slow releases with small numbers of animals and tons of new pieces. I understand the slow release, but the species counts and roster choices are a huge complaint from many. That would be better than the present situation. Even if it would be, like you said, animals that are quite similar to some we already have. I would be already satisfied to get more caimans, a lesser anteater, maybe even ocelots and south american tapir, for example.I don't know if it has been suggested in this site before, but some of the fellows at the Frontier forums had thought of keeping the current DLC model of three packs a year but reserve them for more striking, unique or anticipated animal species, while also doing monthly or bimonthly releases of individual animals as free content.
These free animals could be "clone" species similar to animals that are currently in the roster and relatively easy/cheap to make from pre-existing rigs and models: for example, the black-and-white ruffed lemur, which is popular and common in zoos, but that could feel like wasted space if part of a 4-animal only DLC. This could really escalate the hype and keep the community afloat as the animal-focused players get rewarded and more people look forward to the new releases.
Actually, these non-editable exhibits shouldn't even be in the game, and I'll always say that. It is so disapointing to not be able to build snake, sliders and iguana exhibits...As were most of us.
