Tbh I could see us getting an Eurasian Brown clone in a free update before we get the sloth.
I really hope they don't do that... the Himalayan brown bear is already enough of a clone (its colour is more similar to the Eurasian's anyway). If they include this one and none of the other bears at the end of the game's run, I'll be rather miffed...
Also what do you think about the addition of coatis?

i'd say we should have 2 coatis, the white nosed and the south american, they might be similar, but they live in completely different habitats, the white nosed one lives in arizona deserts and the south american one lives in rainforests, i had the opportunity to play with a coati, it was so docile that we were besties, when i traveled to maranhao, it was so cool.

Ok, here’s the new stuff from the Grasslands Animal Pack and the corresponding update.
  • Disappointingly, the emu and wallaby don’t get an interspecies bonus with each other, or with the kangaroo, or with anything for that matter. Even more disappointingly, neither are walkabout species. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update.
  • The only species to get an interspecies bonus are the blue wildebeest (with giraffe, zebra, Buffalo, gazelle, springbok, sable, ostrich, warthog, rhino, and black wildebeest) and the maned wolf (with capybara and anteater).
  • The pack is releasing with update 1.12.1. Why? Because they fixed the Striped Hyena’s face! The difference isn’t that big, but I guess it’s a good fix.
  • Do butterflies even have interspecies enrichment bonuses? They said they did but they don’t appear to? Weird.
All in all, a pretty good pack with some slight disappointments that can always be fixed with community feedback. Onwards to 2023!

Unless the game has support for the longest time (and I mean the longest) then I would argue two coatimundis would be too much.

Not strictly true, the vast majority of White-nosed coatis live in rainforest areas. Either way, if they were to make two it wouldn't take up too many resources - it'd probably just take a quick reskin given the similarity between the two.

White-nosed Coati isn't a true desert species anywhere, it's found in mountainous forests.

The problem isn’t the resources but the limited roster space. While we are certain that technical support for the won’t last for eternity, we don’t know how many animals the devs still plan on adding to the game. Which is why it wouldn’t be a great idea to have two coatimundis in the game instead of one species.
