Hey guys I have a question, I heard Zoo Tampa has Martial Eagles but the bird only appears in only one of their shows during the day. Can anyone tell me which one it would most likely be? They are my faviorte raptor and while I saw them in Africa, I only got to see a Juvenile so seeing a mature one would be amazing.

It is not always in the shows, but it could show up at any of the Wildlife Connection shows held during the day at both the Saunders and Zooventures Theaters. The theaters are really close to one another. I would advise you to go to the first show of the day and ask the keepers if the eagle will be in any of the shows that day. I believe the first show is usually at 11 in the Saunders Theater. Given the rain this time of year, I would highly advise you to get to the zoo early before it gets really hot and rainy, it tends to rain pretty much every afternoon this time of year.

Thank you! And you don't need to tell me about going to the zoo early lol. I ALWAYS go to the zoo early  Always. But thanks I will do that!

No problem, if you have any other questions feel free to ask, I will do my best to answer. I have been going to ZooTampa/Lowry Park since it was the "Old Zoo" and have also worked on the "inside" (albeit that was a couple of decades ago).

Worth noting, if you are intending on coming to Tampa still, is that the Manatee Building is currently closed for renovations. You can still view the manatees from the observation deck area, but not under water and all the herps in that building are off view along with the river otters.
