I'm not sure if this is general knowledge or not, but I saw this on the news and thought it might be interesting;

It could have the potential to be an interesting little collection, and I can only wish the best for a new smaller collection readying to start out.

Is this totally legal? Will he not need a license to display these animals publicly and is this allowed in a residential area?

Not sure about the displaying thing, but as far as the residential area bit is concerned, as long as you have a DWA licence you can keep almost anything in your house (I think)

I can't watch the video at work but going by the caption describing him as 'the applicant' I would say he's applying for his zoo licence. If he gets this OK, it should be entirely legal. Best of luck to him.
