How many exhibit houses/pavilions does Plzen Zoo open to the public?
African mammals: Daylight part + Nocturnal part
Malagasy house
Tropical house: Venomous snakes, Chimps, Philippines
Succulent house
Sonora desert
Underground world
Pygmy hippo house
Rhino+Giraffe house
Fish Ark
Amazonia house
That should be more or less it...
Also Mediterraneum, Siberian Cabin and Goldfish pavilion.
So 16 houses in total?
Forgot the first one
Second one is pretty much outdoor enclosure, just with covered viewing
And as for the third one, for as long as I live, I will never call that grossly underused waste of resources a pavillon

Birth of a new litter of Zebra Mongooses .
In consequence, public feeding sessions of these animals are suspended for a couple of weeks

The outdoor exhibit is empty, indoor is occupied by Striped polecats. Fennec foxes live in the former Slender mongoose inside exhibit which has been connected with the adjacent indoor space which was occupied by kusimanse (?).

Two species of agouti now present in Plzeň
Black-rumped agoutis now live together with Bolivian night monkeys in the former White-lipped tamarin enclosure next to the children´s playground in the lower part of the zoo.
Isn't that enclosure awfully small?Two species of agouti now present in Plzeň
The whole house was closed yesterday when I visited as it said one of the rhinos was receiving medical attention. I was fearing the worst with the pregnancy but this is sad news nevertheless...

3 Blue Monitors hatched.
2 out of them come from the same egg.
