Here are two scanned slide images; I assume they are both of Pipaluk taken 1968 and later, unfortunately the mounts are not dated ? When did the zoo position the slate barrier to reduce the risk of a individual falling into the dry moat ?

I saw these Bear pits many years ago I believe they were some of the worse I have seen, small all concrete and a tiny bathtub of a pool
