From what I know of the zoo they were kept in the enclosure now used for tigers.

From what I know of the zoo they were kept in the enclosure now used for tigers.

They were indeed kept in the enclosure that now houses`s Amur Tiger`s,which is a pity because it was a brillant enclosure for Polar Bears.

Ootec and Spunky were moved to Sóstó zoo in Hungry in 2003 after spunky developed sever behavioural problems that were thought to be caused by the constant presence of the male bear. She died in 2008 aged 28! I believe Ootec is still alive and well. The old exhibit now exhibits three Amur tigers.
