Popular Junk Foods That You Happen to Hate

I'm feeling inspired thanks to the "What Kind of Zookeeper are You Thread."

Is there a popular kind of junk food (some packaged sweet or salty or whatever snack) that you absolutely despise and would sooner starve to death than eat (then again it might be wiser to hold that sort of judgement until one is actually starving to death.)

I'll go first: Cheetos, Swedish Fish, Sun Chips, Sunny Delight.

Presumably Doner kebabs, which can be pretty nasty: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doner_kebab ;)

Speaking of pretty nasty, did Sunny Delight miss NZ then? It's what kept small children hyperactive during the 1990s.

I'm not sure how I feel about anyone hating pizza. Not sure at all. It is glorious.

The worst pizza I have ever encountered was at Kew Gardens. They put corn on the pizza. Corn!

I sincerely love you Brits, but I will never, ever trust you with pizza.

Coca Cola - Pepsi and all similar drinks. I cannot stand them! How they became world wide famous and how some people can drink them by the litre every day baffles me!

In general I'm not a fan of anything fizzy although I can tolerate some alcohols in small doses at social events and the like; but those sugary popular drinks not a chance.

Hershey nut chocolate is the work of the devil, who thought of making 'chocolate' that tastes of vomit!

Don't look at me - cheese, meat, herbs and tomato only on my pizzas. ;)

Pineapple on pizza boggles me more than sweetcorn though.

Not sure if this counts as junk food, but anything made predominately from egg turns my stomach. So egg mayonnaise, fried eggs, omelettes, or, indeed, just eggs.

Scrambled eggs by far the worst, though.

Wasn't Hershey chocolate basically war-time mass produced for ration packs.

I have heard horror stories about American chocolate and considering how Cadberies went down hill when it was initially bought out by an American firm its no surprise

Though, while we're sharing, I also can't bear coffee and only drink tea when politeness makes escape impossible.

I absolutely hate kebab, crisps and pizza!

And you claim to be Scottish? :p

Every single flavour, shape, variety, and brand of crisps? No one hates crisps! :p

I don't like crisps :p

Distinctly agreed; all Hershey's chocolate for that matter!

But he probably loves haggis and black pudding!

They missed Australia too. Like Chlidonias, Cheetos are the only ones on the initial posts I've heard of.

Agree 100% ! There's just something about the taste, probably not enough sugar.

I thought I was the only one who didn't like coffee. It's too strong!!

You're not alone. I don't like coffee or tea. Or coffee flavouring (as in chocolates, ice cream etc.)

Maybe it's the fizziness you don't like? I prefer my soft drinks (fizzy drinks) to breathe for a while - preferably a few hours - as I find the bubbles seem to distract from the flavour. When the drink is flat it tastes better. And I've loved those drinks for the last 50 or so years - Coke, Pepsi, RC, Stud Cola, Root Beer, Dr Pepper, Sarsaparilla - love them all!

:p
